Where is my data stored?
Your notes are stored locally. When you enable Apple Watch in Note's iPhone settings, eligible notes are also transferred to your paired watch. Saved watch captures wait locally until they can reach your iPhone. We don't have access to your note content.
Does the app collect analytics?
Optional product analytics covers general app and feature usage, activation, and purchase-flow activity, together with technical context and a randomly generated identifier. It does not include note titles or contents, names, or email addresses. It is not used for advertising or sold. Turn it off in Settings to stop future events and clear queued analytics. Required subscription processing by RevenueCat remains separate; see the Privacy Policy for details.
What can I do on Apple Watch?
Enable Apple Watch in Note's iPhone settings and complete the first sync. Browse notes and notebooks, read with the Digital Crown, or tap plus in the library to create a note. Saved captures transfer to the Apple Watch system notebook, which appears only when non-empty and does not count toward your notebook limit. Editing, search, and checking off checklist items remain on iPhone or iPad.
Can I dictate in a different language or use the watch offline?
Dictation languages and text input depend on your Apple Watch and Apple's input settings, not just Note's app language. Note's 20 app languages do not guarantee 20 dictation languages. Dictation may require internet access. Previously transferred notes remain readable offline, and saved new notes wait locally until they can transfer to your iPhone.
What does the app send when I subscribe to Extra?
My Next: Extra is handled by RevenueCat, our subscription provider. The app sends it a randomly generated customer ID — no name, email address, or account ID — and RevenueCat processes the purchase and entitlement status Apple reports. That is what validates receipts, unlocks Extra, restores a purchase, and lets one subscription work across Todo, List, and Note. RevenueCat starts with the app rather than only at purchase time, so it applies whether or not you subscribe. Apple processes all payments, so no card details reach us or RevenueCat, and none of it is used for advertising. Because Extra cannot work without it, this is separate from the analytics switch in Settings. One practical note: if you have Extra, your backup file also carries that customer ID so Extra can follow you to a new phone — which is a good reason to treat backup files as private.
Are my notes saved automatically?
Yes. My Next: Note autosaves on every edit, when you switch apps, and when the app goes to the background. There is no save button — your notes are always up to date.
What happens if I delete the app?
Since your notes live only on your device, deleting the app removes all of them. We recommend exporting a backup from Settings before deleting.
How do I manage my subscription?
You can manage or cancel your Extra subscription in your iPhone's Settings app under your Apple ID > Subscriptions, or directly from the "Subscription & Support" section in the app.
Can I use My Next: Note on multiple devices?
Currently, My Next: Note works on a single device. Cross-device sync is planned for a future update and will be optional.
Can I link notes to todos?
Yes! If you also have My Next: Todo installed, you can link a todo or routine to one of your notes. You can even add a link to a routine — every todo generated from that routine will inherit the link automatically. Linked notes show a small link icon in the side menu, and you can long press the note to follow the link back to the todo. Both apps must be on the same device. Links work offline with no account needed.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet — as a small studio, we're starting with iOS to get the experience right before expanding. Android is on the roadmap and something we'd love to build.
