Where TopicMatch is going

TopicMatch is early studio thinking on a different shape for online conversation — small, private, curated discussions instead of the open forums and feed-style social platforms where exchanges drift into noise or performance. The concept exists at sketch level. Spec is informal, no implementation has started, and the working name plus the underlying shape will likely both change substantially before anything is built.

What it does

  • Curated over open

    Aims to favour structured small-group conversation over open public threads — designed for the discussions that wouldn't happen in feed-style forums.

  • Private over public

    Plans to keep discussions visible only to participants. The shape is conversation, not content.

  • Depth over reach

    Will explore quality of exchange as the core metric — not engagement, not impressions, not virality.
